Very happy that my write up about New Grads was published by my company, Flatiron Health, on LinkedIn today. It started as an idea while mentoring new grads dealing with turmoil in the software engineering industry. I could sense elevated stress levels within teams dealing with departures and more work to do. It reminded me of when I started my career after the 2008 financial crises.
I hope this can help those starting their careers with ton of questions and without many answers. Would love to hear your feedback!
By prioritizing active learning, fostering relationships, and becoming comfortable with the uncomfortable by asking for help, you’ll lay a solid foundation for your engineering career
